In 1989 Nissan debuted the GT-R to compete in the JTC (Japan Touring Car) Group A racing series. The GT-R was undefeated in its first season. Four years running the GT-R won the championship in the JTC Group A series, a record of 29 wins out of 29 races. It is really unbeatable.
Because of its dominance, the Skyline was given its own series in 1994 the JGTC, (Japan GT car) series.

In 1991 Nurburgring 24 hour endurance race (First participation) Skyline GT-R won the Group N class. At the Spa Francorchamps 24 hour endurance race 1991 the GT-R won overall beating Group A, and Group N1 cars.

From 1991 -1997 the Skyline was undefeated in N1 endurance racing in Japan, winning 50 times.

Nissan never produced a Skyline GT-R to comply with the United States FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards).

From 1989 -1999 there were 3 models of Skyline GT-R produced. The R32, R33, and the R34. Each features the RB26DETT engine, ATTESA E-TS all wheel drive system, and Nissan's Super HICAS four wheel steering system.

And now, nissan produce a brand new GTR, to continue all the legend. Which the blood line, will not stop. The R35 gtR, is performing as well as the previous. As u can read in previous post. And hope it will get good result in JGTC super GT, tsukuba time attack race and so on.

Personally hope that can collect all GTR in future. Especially hakosuka, R32 R33 R34, and R35 GTR.

Super GT

The Super GT series, formerly known as the All-Japan Grand Touring Car Championship or JGT (全日本GT選手権, Zen Nihon GT Sensyuken), is a grand touring car race series promoted by the GT-Association (GT-A). Though the JGTC was authorized by the Japan Automobile Federation and recognized by the FIA, the Super GT is authorized directly by FIA.

The cars are divided into two groups: GT500 and GT300 (cars with no more than 500 and 300 horsepower (374 and 224 kW), respectively). These power outputs are capped via the use of intake restrictors although some heavier cars are given allowances to run larger restrictors to maintain parity.

In order to ensure maximum excitement, both GT500 and GT300 groups are run at the same time although points are awarded separately for each group.

GT500

Regulations in GT500 are considerably looser than most GT classifications, and teams are free to change engines with other models made by the manufacturer, change the alignment of the engine, or add forced induction systems to models which do not normally have it. The chassis may also be heavily modified, with lightweight tube-frame "clips" being allowed forward and back of the main cockpit, although the car must overall look similar to its road-going variant. These regulations result in cars which are possibly the fastest GT racing cars in the world. The rationale for this was to allow manufacturers to field competitive cars without having to spend large amounts of money for homologation versions of the race car's road car counterparts (although some companies, notably Honda and Nissan, have still developed homologation specials).

GT300
GT300 cars are much more regulated than their GT500 counterparts, and much more closely resemble road-going versions. Chassis clips and realignments are not allowed (except the latter in the case of front-wheel drive cars), which results in a much more affordable racing experience for privateers. While engine outputs and modifications are at a lower level than the GT500 cars, the GT300 cars still post competitive times and races are very competitive.

MINE'S

MINE'S is an automotive tuning company based in Yokosuka, Japan. MINE'S was started by Michizo Niikura, in 1985. They initially gained their popularity around 1988, by being among the first Japanese companies to sell re-programmed ECU systems for popular Japanese sportscars. Today they sell many products, ranging from Injectors to Complete Engines.
MINE'S currently makes software upgrades for hundreds of Japanese cars, but they only make hardware upgrades for a select few cars. They tend to concentrate on cars that have high potential, and good platforms to expand from. Their performance upgrades include (among other things) exhaust systems, engine computers, camshafts, suspension parts, brake systems, and lightweight body parts. Their body parts are almost always made of lightweight carbon fiber.
Since the early 1990s, they have been best known for their work on the Nissan Skyline GT-R. Their most popular example of this is their MINE'S R34 Skyline GT-R N1 demo car. It is usually demonstrated running at 600ps (590hp). This demo car is the successor to their earlier R33 and R32 GT-R demo cars. Both of these were making similar peak power, but the newer R34 had more work done to the engine to improve response, and efficiency.
Aside from the Skyline GT-R, MINE'S also develops upgrades for cars such as the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO, the Subaru Impreza WRX, and the Nissan Fairlady Z. The Fairlady Z being among the only non-turbocharged vehicles they develop for. While most tuners in Japan turbocharge the Fairlady Z to increase power, the MINE'S Fairlady demo car remains naturally aspirated, and makes 350ps.

Datsun/Nissan S30 fairlady Z are sport car produced in 1970s.Although the car is 30+ years old now, but still, it is very popular.The 240Z was introduced in 1969 with a 2.4 liter straight-6 engine, rear wheel drive, and a stylish coupe body. The engine, based on the Datsun 510's 4-cylinder produced 150 hp (112 kW) and came with a 5-speed manual transmission (USA model received a 4 speed manual). A 4 wheel independent suspension consisted of MacPherson struts in front (borrowed from the Datsun Laurel C30) and Chapman struts in back. Front disc brakes & rear drums were standard.

S30 is also famous at Tokyo's shuto Expressway(wangan).

this red fairlady is belong to a famous wangan team called midnight club. Due to some tragedy happen. The team disbanded. There is because a serious accident happen and there is death.it was probobly because the bosozoku were....being bosozoku.

unexpected result

Due to the votin poll result, we find that most people had voted for the old vintage celica GT.(9 vote) Skygea got the second place(4 vote). And the rest, V12 supra, driftin truck, new GTR only got 1 vote each.Thx for supportin. We will keep working to post some car infomartion for every car enthusiast.
